It’s surprising but true.
In case you have forgotten, let us remind you that starlet Shweta Bharadwaj made her debut with the flop ‘Mission Istaanbul’ which tried to pathetically tackle global terrorism some months back.
But the girl already has the audacity to say that she can match King Khan’s energy on screen.
She’s said, “I would really want to work with Shah Rukh Khan because I want to beat his energy. Everyone keeps raving about his energy level and I want to show people that I can beat him on that.”
Shweta who also did the Telugu movie ‘Indumathi’ isn’t affected by the poor response to her debut film at all.
She’s added, “I was not disappointed with the bad performance of ‘Mission Istaanbul’. If a film doesn’t do well, that doesn’t mean it’s not a good film. It’s quite possible that the audience didn’t understand the film. What I’m happy about is that I was noticed in the film and got individual appreciation.”
Well, this girl sure has confidence. Or should we call it over confidence?
Shweta is working once again with the producers of ‘Mission Istaanbul’, Suniel Shetty’s Popcorn Entertainment and is shooting for her second film, ‘Loot’ with them alongside Suniel, Govinda, Javed Jaffery and Mimoh Chakraborty.
The movie to be released in March revolves around four over-ambitious people who come together to rob a person in Bangkok to make a quick buck.
She’s okay with exposure but doesn’t mind if the role is De-glamorized. She thinks attitude, a lot of patience and careful selection of roles can only help.
In spite of not proving her credentials, must say, this girl knows how to play with words. We think we need to remind her that actions speak louder than words. -Sampurn Media
