Since time immemorial, the film 'Sankarabharanam' has often been valued as the priceless treasure of the Telugu cinema and it will remain as a masterpiece in the ages to come. One person who was part of history being made was the gracious and elegant classical dancer Manju Bhargavi who did a similar role in the film too.
Her dance stormed the whole Andhra Pradesh and even today she is regarded with the same respect. Recently, Manju was given an offer to give her dance performance today as part of the Film Nagar Cultural center awards night that will also celebrate the New Year gathering.
However, Manju has turned down the offer giving a practical reason that those present would not be in any mood to sit back and relish a classical dance program.
