If you thought that the year 2008 has been bad for the southern circuit when it comes to the films and its performances, then you might be surprised to know that even the big Bollywood has come down crumbling in a bigger way with a very scary statistics of what went by.
A total of 125 films hit the screens this year but not more than 10 could become hits. The year started with the magnum opus 'Jodhaa- Akbar' and made 45 crores. It also got good reviews but took 3 months for the makers UTV to recover.
Then the films 'Race' and 'Jannat' are true hits in Bollywood for the year2008 and this was followed by movies like 'Rock On' 'Golmaal Returns' 'Singh is Kinng' 'Jaane Tu..Ya Jaane Na'.The final quarter of the year has seen 'A Wednesday' and the latest 'Ghajini' that has been showing some hope for the ailing tinsel town.
