From what it seems, Kangana Ranaut is having a bit of a problem up her sleeve. I'm told the global meltdown has affected one of her latest films quite badly.
Rumour has it that Kangana's next with Sunny Deol has been almost entirely shelved. Of course, Kangana and her friends have been insisting that it's just been postponed.
Either way, Bollywood's original size zero star is on a forced 40-day-long vacation – the number of days she had committed to the film's makers.
Apparently the yet-untitled venture was to be directed by Radhika Rao and Vinay Sapru, the duo behind Salman Khan's Lucky: No Time for Love. It was to star Sunny Deol and to be produced by T Series.
A friend in the industry tells me that the film was initially to be shot in the US. Then the makers decided to settle for Bangkok… before they called the whole thing off!
After all, a Sunny Deol-starrer is not exactly a good moneymaking proposition these days, is it?
Meanwhile Kangana was hoping that the success of Fashion would help her bag a couple of new projects. That too, I'm told, has not happened.
Raaz, I'm sure you know, is not creating the necessary waves in the market.
So her only 'big film' for the year is Kites. Then again, the woman who is making news for the movie is not Kangana but Barbara Mori!
And I'm sure you'd want to know whatever's happening to the Yash Raj movie she was supposed to be part of. Guess what, I'd probably give you my Burberry if YOU tell me something about it.
I, for sure, know that she was slighted at the Studio's gates when a watchman refused to let her in!
Anyway, I'm certainly getting tired of her psychotic roles and honestly I'd rather see her doing something different for a change. But the only thing that's keeping poor Kangana busy is a certain Adhyayan Suman.
So don't be surprised if you see 'fresh and shocking' stories about Kangana and Adhyayan over the next month or so!
