Britney So Popular Again that Restraining Orders are Flying

Perhaps it’s a mark of super-stardom, or an indication that a young starlet is, indeed, "hot." Whatever the implication, restraining orders fly around the celebrity world like confetti, stopping anyone from annoying ex’s to outright stalkers. Britney Spears, in the spirit of continuing her massive comeback tour that reached full force in 2008, is keeping 2009 interesting now by sporting a whole collection of restraining orders. Alas for Britney, these restraining orders appear to be more of the "business" variety than the infinitely more flattering stalker type, but when one is on the comeback tip, one doesn’t take anything for granted.

Spears, along with her father Jamie (who is a co-conservator of Britney’s fortune), have obtained restraining orders against Britney’s former manager Sam Lutfi, ex-boyfriend Adnan Ghalib and attorney Jon Eardley, claiming that the trio are conspiring to gain control of Brit’s affairs. According to reports, Jamie Spears and Brit’s family lawyer Andrew Wallet filed court documents stating the belief "that [Ghalib, Eardley and Lutfi] are working in concert to disrupt the conservatorship, with utter disregard for Ms. Spears’ health and well being."

Among the accusations hurled at the trio include Britney’s mother Lynn Spears’ assertion that Lutfi was grinding up pills and adding them to Britney’s food to control her. Ghalib, a paparazzo, has been accused of leaking Britney’s itinerary – in exchange for money - to his fellow celeb stalker buddies so that they can show up to take photos of her. Jamie Spears and Wallet were named permanent co-conservators of Britney’s affairs in 2008, after she underwent to forced hospitalizations.
