Mallika’s secrets are out!

All who cherished the dream of having the serpentine beauty Mallika Sherawat as wife, we have bad news for you!

The latest issue of ‘Stardust’ magazine, which hits the stands today, gives an insight into the actress’ marital past, including an encounter with Mallika’s ex mother-in-law, Mrs S S Gill.

Mallika was married to a pilot, Karan Singh Gill, when she was still Reema Lamba (her real name). The actress has never spoken about her whirlwind marriage and subsequent divorce. After achieving stardom, Karan and his family went into hiding, not wanting to do anything with Mallika anymore.

Her uncle Sushil Lamba said, “She always had a thought of becoming rich and famous. She married Gill because she was in love with him but married life wasn’t made for her. So, she decided to quit wedlock and lead an independent lifestyle. From her own parents to her in-laws, everybody was against her decision and as a result, she had a major argument with all of them.”
