Insecurity and icy vibes between two actresses is a common occurrence in the film industry. And Jiah Khan and Asin who star in the forthcoming film Ghajini are no exception. Never mind that the two actresses do not share screen space in the entire film. Sources reveal that Jiah and Asin have been making discreet enquiries about each other’s roles and clothes in the film.In fact, Asin's insecurity reached extreme lengths when she decided to be present on the film’s shoot last week even though she didn't have to shoot for a single scene that day.
“At Filmistan, a song was being picturised on Jiah and Asin happened to be present on the sets as she had a costume trial. After the costume trials were done, everyone thought that Asin would leave the sets. However, she called up the assistant director and told him that she wanted to see the shoot of Jiah’s song. The assistant director was surprised but he did not argue with Asin. She sat through the entire shoot and noted the close-ups and the footage given to Jiah in the song,” said a source.
Incidentally, Asin and Jiah did not even say the customary ‘Hi’ to each other. Our source from the sets added, “This was the first time that Asin and Jiah came face to face. They should have at least exchanged pleasantries. Both literally looked through each other.” And was Jiah on the sets when Asin was shooting for her song? Our source laughed and said, “No, Jiah did not turn up during Asin’s shoot to pay her back in the same coin.
